Powered by its Suzuki 1.6L inline-4 motor power is routed to all four wheels through a hi-lo/2-4 manual transfer case and a five speed manual transmission. These mini SUVs came with 95 horsepower from the factory but when combined with the lightweight nature of the vehicle, the Tracker was reported to do a combined 25 miles per gallon which is impressive for an off road capable vehicle.
The example offered here is finished in a black exterior over black interior. Inside the vehicle is an awesome throwback to the 90s with the cloth seat color inserts. The selling owners note that the removable soft top has been recently replaced. With the top down, the Tracker provides an awesome open-air driving experience similar to that of a Chevrolet Blazer. The Tracker was officially registered as a light truck thus putting it in the same category as the Blazer and Jimmy.
The partnership between Suzuki and GM / GEO was a match made in heaven. The ability for GEO to offer a fun and sporty mini SUV that was priced right and borrow the manufacturing and design from the Suzuki brand.
