Articulated drake green-winged teal confidence duck decoy wood carving, handcarved and painted by Casey Edwards in his antique/vintage style done as one of Casey's famous "Flappy-Winged" decoys. Here is what makes this teal decoy so valuable and collectible: It is life-size measuring 14"  long, standing high 16" while on the base. It works. It is carved hollow. It is a rare mechanical decoy. The wings are carved concave making them lightweight. The tail is semi-fanned. The eyes are antique. The wings move with ease as the hunter in hiding pulls the string going from this decoy to the blind. There is carved and painted feather detail throughout. The painting is done with the antique combing effect. It is finished with Casey's very own way of antiquing giving it an aged patina.
