Unique fanged Maya Pascola Mask from Sonora 4 1/2 " x 6 " 18" with goat hair.  Circa 2000
This unique style of mask was derived from traditional face painting. The Pascola dancers wear cocoon rattles on their legs and their role is to clear the fiesta ground and at times dance.
