    Description

Up for auction is another wonderful preening or resting Drake Bluebill made by Ralph Reghi from the Mt. Clemens area in Michigan, ca. 1940s.  This balsa bodied bird is in original paint except for
    possible
refreshing to the paint on head and bill by Reghi.  The decoy does have a few small rubs on the body and rubs to the tail.   The head form tucked into the back feathers is just outstanding.  And note the detailed checking to the body to reduce glare as well as the beautiful, crossed wing tips.  The bird has an angled, weighted keel typically used by many Mt. Clemens area makers.  Measures 12-3/4” long; 7-3/4” wide; and 5-1/2” tall not including the weighted keel.  Please ask questions or for more photos.  Shipping includes insurance and is higher outside of the USA.   Thanks for looking.
